Astute Appoints Peter Bennfors as Chief Financial Officer

In addition to overseeing all financial activities for the company, Bennfors will lead Astute’s growth initiatives and post-acquisition integration efforts

COLUMBUS, OH — Astute, Inc. (“Astute”), a leading customer engagement platform, today announced the appointment of Peter Bennfors as Chief Financial Officer.

With nearly 30 years of experience leading finance teams, Bennfors will oversee Astute’s post-acquisition integration efforts and drive the company’s growth initiatives. As CFO, he will be responsible for all financial operations of the company, effective immediately.

Prior to joining Astute, Bennfors served as CFO for Sparta Systems. He also served in financial leadership roles at Misys as well as with a number of private-equity backed companies, such as Rogue Wave, Asset Control, and SRSsoft.

Bennfors’ appointment as CFO marks the third C-level executive named to Astute’s leadership team this year. In January, the company named Zarnaz Arlia as Chief Marketing Officer and Shellie Vornhagen as Chief Customer Experience Officer. All three will report to Astute CEO Mark Zablan.
